I had a lovely time with the Shannon family capturing Greg's graduation party earlier this summer. I absolutely love sessions like this - a few portraits, then just capturing all the little moments of family celebrating together! Portraits are definitely important, but those photos that freeze a moment in time, those are the ones that really bring back all the feelings years later.

Mike + Ginny are a very sweet couple and I was thrilled to be asked to photograph them and their family on their 50th anniversary! We did a quick family photo session at their church, which was the perfect place for this - it's the place where they raised their 4 awesome kids and I'm sure it holds a lot of wonderful memories for them.
After the family photos we headed to their party where they spent the afternoon celebrating with their extended family. I loved looking through the old photos and seeing her wedding dress. That green fabric under their wedding photo is from a bridesmaid's dress!
This whole family is so sweet and fun!

Last weekend, I had the privilege of capturing these moments at a 50th anniversary party for an amazing couple. 50 YEARS! I think it's so amazing and inspiring that not only are they still together but they are still obviously so much in love after all those years.
Their daughter and son got together and planned a photo shoot with me for their families back in April and they used those photos as a gift for their parents. I LOVE how they all wrote on the back of the frame!
And just in case you're curious...this is what they looked like 50 years ago!
