These sessions - the kind where I just hang out with the family and capture their normal, everyday life - are my absolute favorite. These are the photos you're going to cherish the most when your kids are grown up and your house is a lot quieter. These are the photos that show you right now just how amazing and wonderful your life really is (even when it feels like nothing but chaos some days).
This particular family is especially awesome - I've been photographing them since Alex + Alisa's engagement session in 2018, their beautiful, rainy wedding day in 2019, and a couple of family sessions since then - and I've loved every minute of every session with them. They are such genuinely kind people, and they're passing that on to their kids. I got so many hugs when it was time for me to leave, and sweet little Anna even sent a coloring page home with me (which now lives on my fridge, of course!).
