This is one of my favorite newborn sessions ever, and I can't believe I haven't blogged these photos yet! Little miss Emory was born last November and we did this session in early December.

I have known Morgan since she was a baby and it has been so fun to watch her grow up, get married, and now be such a wonderful mommy to Emory and Elias!


I love simple, cozy photos of newborns! These kind of photos just speak to me and honestly these types of photos are my absolute favorite to look back on of my own kids. Save the props and poses for when they're older and just enjoy their smallness and newness at the newborn stage! Also, black and whites are my favorite for newborns, so I was thrilled when Morgan mentioned that she wanted plenty of them!














Sweet little Elias is such a great big brother! He was so sweet and gentle with Emory during these photos!









Elias kind of stole the show for a few minutes!
















This session was done in their home, like almost all newborn sessions I photograph. In-home sessions are currently not allowed due to COVID-19 and Indiana's stay at home order, but there are outdoor options available if you're interested!
