Here's my Let's Do 52 shot for this week. The theme was everyday tools. Ok, so this isn't the actual camera that I use every day, but I picked this one from my collection of vintage cameras for this shot because I like the contrast of the black and silver.
This week's theme: responsibility
The Let's Do 52 - Kids Click Too theme this week was toys. Here is Joey's picture for the week:
And here's Abbie's:
Both kids used the "big" camera this week (my Canon 7D) and did their own processing in photoshop. Abbie is not that into the editing part yet, but Joey had a lot of fun doing it all himself. He chose his focal point, and experimented with camera angles (all this in between working on his pinewood derby car). No actions for this boy, he did his own black and white conversion, sharpened, and added his name all by himself. I think in a few more weeks he won't even need me to remind him how to do anything!
I've thought about doing a project 365 (photo a day) or project 52 (photo a week) for a few years but never took the plunge. This year,
Paint the Moon is hosting a project 52 with 2 themes to choose from each week AND a kids' version with different themes that Joey (8) and Abbie (almost 6) are so excited about.
This is my photo for week 1 (a little late). The theme was "sharing" and this is Jack and Jonah sharing some cuddle time on my bed. This happens every morning around here and it's one of my favorite times of the day!
Here is Joey's shot for the week (the the theme was metal)
This is Abbie's shot
They're both using my old Rebel and even learning about photoshop! This is going to be such a fun year!
