Last month, we took a short little trip up to St. Joseph, Michigan. Lake Michigan is one of our favorite places and this time we got to share it with my sister and brother and their families. It was a fun weekend even though we had a big storm the first night. We camped at the KOA campground, which was awesome and I highly recommend. We spent a little time downtown and had the best cupcakes of my life. If you're ever in St. Joseph, check out Mimi's Cupcakes. One evening we got pizza at Silver Beach Pizza (another must-do in the area) and ate it in a little pavilion with live music across the street and a magician even walked up and did a trick for us. It was a pretty perfect time but I didn't get any photos of that - too busy enjoying it!
One morning I got up before everyone else and headed to the beach for a little alone time and some photos. I've never had an entire beach to myself before, but other than a couple people fishing on the pier I was the only person there. It was awesome.
We saw this field of sunflowers on our way home and had to stop for a few photos. I love Indiana.
