I never thought I'd be an animal person. I don't dislike them, I just never really loved them. But now here we are with a dog, three cats, twelve chickens, and four ducks. They're growing on me! We got the chickens and ducks last spring, and if you follow me on Facebook or Instagram you probably saw about a million photos of them. Baby animals are pretty much the cutest thing. You know, other than human babies!
The baby chicks in these photos are all grown up now and we're getting about a dozen eggs a day right now. The hens are still entertaining and fun to watch. The rooster...well, not so much! I don't mind the crowing, but he's like a tiny little feathered dinosaur with an attitude.
