Alex and Kyle's wedding was just one of those beautiful, perfect days that makes me love what I do even more. They are the sweetest couple and spent the whole day smiling, laughing, and truly enjoying each other. It was wonderful to watch and I was thrilled to be a part of their day.
We started the day off at Hilton Garden Inn in Terre Haute to capture a few images of Kyle and his dad and brothers preparing for the wedding, then went down the lobby for a few quick portraits.
After Kyle left for the chapel, I headed up to Alex's room for some photos of her, her bridesmaids, mom, and friends. Alex was a very calm and happy bride. And check out her dress - it was beautiful and I love the splash of color!
After a few portraits in the lobby, we headed to White Chapel at Rose-Hulman Institute of Technology. Alex and Kyle are both graduates of Rose, so it was the perfect location for both their engagement session and their wedding (and it's also the prettiest wedding venue in Terre Haute!)
They chose to do a first look, and it was sweet and adorable, of course!
Their ceremony was perfect!
I love these ribbon streamers and I loved it even more that the guests waved them in their seats instead of lining up outside. It was a joy-filled moment that I'm sure Alex and Kyle will remember forever.
There was rain forecasted for most of the day, but it ended up being sunny and perfect! We found this pocket of beautiful light behind the chapel and I'm thrilled with how these photos came out!
The reception was at Indiana Theatre in downtown Terre Haute. After a few very quick portraits outside the theater, Alex and Kyle were ready for their entrance.
I love this theater so much!
Alex's sister and both of Kyle's brothers gave great toasts!
Their first dance was so perfect!
