Our winter so far {Clinton, IN lifestyle photographer}

Sorry for the blog silence lately - winter is my slow season and I've been enjoying the time off relaxing and getting settled into the new house. We moved one month ago today and in that month we have...

Had LOTS of snow. I'm ok with that as long as I don't have to drive in it. The kids got a whole extra week off at the end of their Christmas break.

Got a cat. It's a stray that we took in and at first we thought it was a girl and named her Bella. A couple weeks later we realized we were very wrong and it is in fact a boy. So Bella became Beau and off came the pink collar.

Had our first Christmas in the house. It was good. Daniel and I were pretty exhausted from the move, plus he was a little sick, but even so it was awesome to be celebrating in the house after waiting so long to get it.

Taken advantage of the few nice days to be outside whenever we can. The house came with 2 acres and 2 barns, so lots of space for the kids to play and explore.

Had more game nights than we had in the last year.

Did lots of crafts, art, and projects.

Made way too many batches of chocolate chunk cookies.

Stayed home a LOT.

Had family over for for New Years; a late Christmas; and a joint birthday party for Abbie and Jack.

Celebrated two birthdays - Jack turned 5 and Abbie turned 8.

Been endlessly amused by conversations with Jonah. He's all of a sudden talking way more and saying the funniest things.

I did the This is our Life project last year, but this year I'm switching it up and doing a 365 project. No themes, just a photo a day. Those will be posted on my facebook page. If you haven't already liked my page, go do it now - I just might be running a special soon and that's where it will be posted.
