Storyteller sessions are my favorite for families - instead of spending the time posing and trying to get smiles from the kids, we spend our time relaxing, laughing together, and capturing memories of actual everyday moments. These types of photos are great for at least two reasons - first, these are the things you'll want to remember 20 years from now, when your kids are all grown up and second, they're good reminders for now of just how blessed you really are and how beautiful your life really is.
We started this session off in their apartment with a few quick portraits in front of the Christmas tree, then we did a few more relaxed portraits on the couch. After that, the afternoon was filled with card games, video games, piano practice, and a trip to the gym.
