Even though I've been friends with Jaclyn's sister since high school, I've never actually met Jaclyn until this session. I'm SO glad she contacted me. This family is awesome and I loved hanging out with them.

Bradley is quite the star. He plays different sports year-round and I've heard he's great at all of them. Ryan has been coaching his football team since elementary school. I think it's so cool that they share that.

Yup, it's another Fowler Park silhouette. I can't help myself.

I love, love, love this image of Ryan and Jaclyn. Can't you just feel the love?

They are such a cute family!

You can see more from this session on my facebook page. If you're looking for a photographer in the Wabash Valley area, click here for session details or here to contact me. I'd love to hear from you!

This is my sister and her family. They're awesome.

Tracy is the best big sister a girl could ask for. Every girl should have a sister like her.

Tracy and Eric have been together, umm....pretty much forever. I think since she was like 15 or so. I love seeing couples stay together through thick and thin. They'll totally be one of those adorable old couples still holding hands when they're 80.

Erin is, hands down, the coolest 16-year-old I know. I love that she doesn't let other people's opinions bother her. She is awesome and sweet and I don't think she has a mean bone in her body.

Ryan is such a cool kid. He loves military stuff and the Titanic, and his dream is to be a chef in Paris. He's definitely a better (and much more creative) cook than I am. My kids (especially Jonah) adore him. We call him the baby whisperer.

You can see more photos from this session on my facebook page.
Aren't they just the cutest family? This was their first ever family photo shoot so it had to be awesome.

Gavin is a really cool kid. I had a lot of fun with him, and I think it's obvious from this series of images that he had a pretty good time too.

Yeah, so I have a thing for silhouettes. I just love them, and if you have a photo session with me at Fowler Park, you're almost guaranteed to get one. There's a perfect spot there for them, so I almost always take advantage of that.

I love it when families relax and have fun together. There was LOTS of laughter at this session!

Gavin, like most other boys I know, likes Legos. This is a really cool dinosaur he made. I actually haven't seen this set before so I either need to find one or make sure my boys don't see this photo because I know they'd love it and want one too.

I always try to make sure to get a great photo of the parents together at family sessions since they usually don't have a lot of photos of themselves other than wedding photos. I LOVE this one of Carolyn and Tommy and I hope they love it too. Isn't Carolyn just so pretty?

I'm glad we got some fall color in these photos. After the summer we had I wasn't expecting this much color, so it's been a nice surprise!

If you've been thinking about getting some family photos done, I'd love to hear from you! You can click here for session pricing and information, or click here to contact me. You can also see more images from this session on my facebook page.
The first ever Amy Foltz Photography email newsletter is going out next week!

There will be an advance notice of a Thanksgiving sale (ok, so I just spilled the beans...but if you get the newsletter, you'll know what the sale is) AND an extra special bonus that only newsletter subscribers will get, plus some other fun stuff. So you don't want to miss it!

To sign up, just click the "email newsletter signup" tab at the top of the page. After you sign up, you'll get a confirmation email and you'll need to click the link in that to be added to the list. Or you can just email me at amy@amyfoltz.net and I'll get you added.

Audrey and I have sent lots and lots of emails back and forth over the last few weeks, trying to get all the details for her and Kyle's wedding ironed out. We thought we had a fool-proof plan to get all the shots she wanted before the ceremony and spend the rest of the day celebrating. Well, if you've ever planned a wedding, you know that things don't always go as planned. So yeah, there were definitely some roadblocks...a late bus diver, a locked door, the wrong flowers, and RAIN.

But, you know what? At the end of the day, they were married, and that's all that really matters. We got the photos, maybe not the exact ones we planned, but we caught SO many funny and sweet moments! I can't wait for Audrey to see them all - I think she'll be super happy.

Oh, and I should mention that she had the best bridesmaids ever. They were there for her all day, taking care of anything and everything that needed done, and they made the day SO much fun!

I had a super awesome second shooter, Erin Knowles, working with me for this wedding. I'm sure she'll be posting some of her shots too, you can check her out on her website or facebook.

It was actually raining when we took the these first few photos...luckily the church had a nice little covered walkway that worked out perfectly.

I'm pretty sure every bride out there has pinned a shot like this to her Pinterest boards this year. Sometimes it works out and sometimes it doesn't, but it definitely did here!

I'll be posting an album on my facebook page tomorrow with lots more photos, so check it out! Like my page while you're there to see more photos in your newsfeed.

If you're looking for a wedding photographer in the Wabash Valley area, I'd love to talk to you! Click the "contact me" tab at the top of the page or click the "weddings" tab for more information.
It's finally fall! During that ridiculously hot summer it didn't seem like fall would ever get here, but it did and I'm so glad! Time for football, sweatshirt, and hot chocolate! It's also a great time for photos, especially since late summer rains helped the trees give us some nice color instead of the brown I thought we'd get. I still have a couple of Friday and weekday morning spots available for October, but Saturdays are full through the first week of November. If you've been putting off scheduling a family session, now's the time to contact me!

I'm sending out an email newsletter at the end of the month and there just might be advance notice of a super special deal (plus some other fun stuff), so if you don't want to miss out on that please signup for it below. I promise no spam and it will only be sent out every couple of months or so.

Whether you schedule a session with me this fall or not, I hope you take time to enjoy the season and make some awesome memories with your family!

Christmas is coming in just 11 weeks! Have you starting thinking about gifts yet? Kids are easy, but what about parents? I know with my own parents there's not a whole lot that they want that they don't just buy for themselves throughout the year, so I've started making my mom a photo book every year and she LOVES it! It's something she'd never get around (or know how) to make herself, and it's filled with photos of the people she loves. I bet your parents would love one as well.

If you've had a session with me in the past and either didn't have a book included in your package, or just want to order extras for gifts, you can order the first for $95 and each additional copy is just $75. Wedding albums are $295 for the first (if you didn't get one with your original package) and $145 for each additional copy. The copies must be exact copies of the original to get the reduced price.

Click here to contact me if you're interested! Books must be ordered by the end of November to guarantee delivery by Christmas.
I've known Heather since we were kids and it was such a joy to get to photograph her and Mike on Sunday afternoon. They're expecting their first baby (a girl!) next month and I just can't wait to meet her!

Heather is so sweet and I know she's going to be an awesome mommy!

Here's a little sneak peek and if you'd like to see more, check out my facebook page.

This is my son Joey's 2nd year in youth football and his buddy/cousin Mitchell's 1st year. They're on different teams (Joey is on the 3rd/4th grade team and Mitchell is on the 1st/2nd grade team) and we had already thought about doing this photoshoot, but when we saw that they were both #30, we knew we had to do it!

The boys had SO much fun at this shoot! We expected them to gripe and grumble about it, but they had tons of fun and even had some ideas of their own. I LOVE how the photos turned out, although we kind of forgot to put the eye black on them, so we'll probably have to take them out for a few more another day. Oops!
