I am not above using bribery to get great pictures of my kids! When I was looking at pettiskirts online, Abbie was sitting on my lap and she pointed to this particular one and said "Oh, Mommy, I NEED that skirt!" She is such a girl! Anyway, it was worth it, because now anytime I want to take her picture, I just need to say she can wear the "pretty skirt" and she's all about it! Oh, by the way, the reason she's wearing a hat in the middle of summer is that she found a pair of scissors when I wasn't looking and chopped half her bangs off! Hope it grows back soon!

For the rest of August and September, I will offering my new extended session (which includes 30-40 images on CD with copyright release and a 5x7 of each) for $245 (regular price is $295) For those that are interested in their images on CD but want a little less, I will be offering minisessions on October 25 and 26. These sessions will be shorter than normal (about half an hour) and include 15 images on CD with copyright release, a 4x6 of each, and a 10x10 art board, all for $150.

Here's a couple of pictures if you're not sure what an art board is. I offer 3 square sizes (5x5, 8x8, 10x10) and your choice of colors and text. The image is printed on photo paper, then mounted on styrene. It's great for sitting on an easel or you can drill small hole in the corner and hang with ribbon. I also offer 5x10 and 10x20 storyboards, which can include up to 6 images. I usually show a couple of options with your proofs, but if you have another idea I don't show you, just let me know!

Joey says when he grows up, his job is going to be singing up on stage in front of everyone. Even though I'm pretty sure he means he wants to sing in church (he gets up and sings Jesus Loves Me at church any time he gets a chance), I thought it would be cool to let him be a rock star for these pictures, since his daddy gave him a mohawk anyway. I meant to give him a (fake) tattoo for these too, but I forgot. Oh well, I can always retake them. Since we bought him that guitar, he's been much more willing to pose for me!

Well, I decided it was finally time to start a blog! I'll be sharing sneak peaks from clients' sessions, new products and specials; and, of course, pictures of my kids, because they're just too cute not to share! I'll TRY to update this once or twice a week, so check back often! To get it all started, here's a couple of my kids. I took these at Bridgeton, on of my very favorite places for pictures! I drag them there at least a few times a year, sometimes just to play in the water and sometimes for pictures. I love these pictures! You can really see how much they adore each other...most of the time!
