I photographed this lovely family last summer and I was thrilled to meet up with them again a couple of weeks ago for a session at their home. These types of sessions are my favorite - just a family hanging out, doing everyday things in their everyday places. These are the kind of photos that will really bring back the memories years from now and make you feel like you're in the moment again. And they're wonderful to have now as reminders of just how lucky you are.
When you have a front porch this beautiful, it's got to be used for photos! Their backyard was just as wonderful, so we started the session outside before moving into the house.
Zoe just loved picking the vegetables in their little garden!
How perfect is this bench? It was the perfect spot for a few portraits of little miss Zoe. She was such a good little model - this session went a good hour past my usual sessions because she was being so good and we got so many adorable photos of her!
Zoe was pretty happy to cuddle with her mama for a bit. I had to ask her to not squeeze mommy quite so tight!
Oooh, I love this one so much! There's nothing like a daddy's hand to make a little girl feel safe and loved.
One of the few things Ginny requested was some shots in Zoe's bedroom. I loved this room! The green was a nice change from the typical pink and purple for a little girl's room.
They requested a photo of prayer time. It was such a sweet moment!
They are turning their attic into a playroom/office and I am seriously jealous of this space! And isn't Zoe the cutest little ballerina?
