With any session booked and paid for by the end of August (including fall mini sessions) you'll get 3 FREE mini accordian albums. Each album has 10 pictures and the albums do not have to be the same! This is the Petty family, almost ready to welcome baby #3, Samantha, in just a week or two. I can't wait to meet her! Not only is Crystal my cousin, she's also my bff AND my assistant for weddings. So I'm pretty excited to meet her new little girl and do her newborn photo shoot very soon! Her big sister and big brother are SUPER excited to meet her too. They talk to her every day and Mitchell even promised to share his pirate toys with her...that's kind of a big deal for him!

I know it doesn't feel like it right now with 95 degree temps outside, but fall is coming quicker than we realize! LOTS of people want fall sessions, so if you're specifically wanting fall color for your photos, please contact me soon to schedule your session! The window of really good color is really only a couple of weeks long, so I'll try to fit as many sessions as I can into October. If you book your fall session now, you can wait and pay later, but at least make sure it gets scheduled before my calendar fills up!

Also, if you're wanting fall photos but don't want or need a full session, I am planning a day of mini sessions in October. You'll get a 45-minute session with 15-20 fully edited images on DVD with print release and a 4x6 spiral-bound photo book, all for only $175! (regular price for a full session is $365) All sessions will be on Saturday, October 23, at either Fowler or Deming Park. OK, so maybe two more :-) I have the hardest time choosing photos for the blog! I love Zach's smile in the first one and the vintage feel of the second, so I'll just use both! Zach was the first session I scheduled after my recent price change. The session fee of $365 now includes a DVD with print release AND a custom-designed hardcover book featuring all the edited images from the session! It used to make me so sad when clients didn't end up choosing ALL their images. I kinda feel bad for the ones left behind! Yeah, I'm a dork. Plus, if it were me, I know I'd want them all. So anyway, I'm happy that Zach (and his parents) will have all his photos and a super cool book to show them off!

I had an awesome time with Zach, his mom and a friend on Saturday evening. I love it when clients have specific ideas in mind, and Zach had a lot! He requested shots in a few locations in dowtown Terre Haute, some with his bike, some with his dog Hank, and some out in a field. I love the shots we got and can't wait to finish editing them!

Mackenzie was the flower girl at Mandi and Keith's wedding. Isn't she the cutest?? I seriously could have taken pictures of her all day long!

Just a few shots of some of the details of Mandi and Keith's wedding!

Mandi and Keith's ceremony was short and sweet, and a bit unusual. They did a handfasting, which I've heard of but never seen done. It was pretty cool. Also, this was an outdoor wedding under a tent, so they just had the guests sit at tables for the ceremony instead of setting up extra chairs for it. I wasn't sure how that was going to work out, but I think it went pretty well.

I LOVE these photos of Mandi and her dad! They are some of my favorites from the whole day. Before the wedding, we all headed down the road to an old barn to get the portraits done before the ceremony. I LOVE it when brides and grooms see each other before the wedding. It saves so much time later that they get to spend with their guests instead of taking photos. But back to Mandi and her dad...don't you just love these?
