Hope you all had a wonderful Christmas! It was Jack's first, and of course he was much more interested in everything EXCEPT his presents! Joey and Abbie were VERY happy with their presents and spent the whole day playing Legos and Barbies! We spent lots of time with family and just relaxed for a few days. We got some snow in the couple of days AFTER Christmas and spent a day driving around Parke County taking come pictures. I'll share some of those in a couple of days. Hope you all have an amazingly awesome new year!
There's not a lot going on around here...just getting things ready for Christmas and birthdays! In January, Jack will be turning one and Abbie will turn 4! Jack is growing sooo fast! He's already starting to look (and act!) more like a toddler than a baby. Sometimes that makes me a little sad, but mostly he is just so much fun! Last week he learned to play peekaboo! It was the cutest thing!
Oh, and a little side note...I've posted the new 2010 prices on my website and facebook page. If you pre-pay and schedule a session this month for any time next year, you can still get this year's pricing for that session and any prints ordered from that session. Wedding prices have also changed, but if you book it this year (contract signed and deposit paid by Dec. 31st), you will still get this year's pricing. Call or email me for more details or to book your session!

Jack is 10 months old now! It won't be long before he's walking and talking. I am SO not ready for that yet! The first year always goes by so fast!
A few years ago, I hit some yard sales and thrift shops and collected some cool old cameras. I got a few of them out to use for props for this shoot. The kids were fascinated and terribly confused by this one, an old TLR (twin lens reflex).
Every time I ask Joey to pose for me, I always have to take turns with him. He'll try one of my ideas, then he'll get to try one of his own. This one was his idea. Sometimes it's really best to let kids do their own thing!
Nichole!!!!! I'll get your gift certificates to you next week, just give me a call or send me an email to schedule your session! Everyone else who entered the contest is also going to receive a $50 gift certificate. So if you entered, send me an email (to foltzphoto@aol.com) with your address and I'll get it to you!
Just one week left in my big giveaway contest...for all the details, scroll down past the baby pictures! You could WIN TWO FREE GIFT CERTIFICATES!
I have been waiting such a long time to be able to take these photos!!! These are my very very good friends and their new little princess. Aren't they the sweetest little family?!? She's not even a week old yet and already has mommy and daddy wrapped around her little finger! I just love these photos so much...we've been friends for a really long time and it's so cool to see them as a family now!!! I'm sure I'll be posting more from this session when I finish editing! Wow, that was a lot of exclamation points...can you tell I'm SO EXCITED?!?!?!?!?!?
Ok, so did you see the pictures of the adorable gift certificates in my last post? Want to know how to get not one, but TWO, for FREE? Here's the deal: I want you to think about your family right now, about what you want to remember about this time in your life. Then think about what kind of photographs would best represent that. Does a certain location or activity come to mind, or just a certain "look" you're looking for? Ok, have some ideas? Either leave a comment here on the blog or on my facebook fan page and on November 21st I will use random.org to pick a winner. The winner will get a certificate for $120 (enough for a session and a 16x20) AND a $75 certificate (enough for a session and an 8x10) to give away. Great deal, huh? A free session for you AND a free Christmas gift. Can't get much better than that. So start thinking! I want to hear your most creative ideas!
Just three little rules: the two gift certificates will expire in April 2010, they can't be used together or with any other offer, and the location you choose for your session must be in Vermillion, Vigo or Parke county in Indiana (unless you want to pay travel fees).

Just in time for the holidays, gift certificates are here! This would make a perfect gift for almost anyone on your list! They come packaged in a tin with tissue, ready to give! Gift certificates are available for any amount and are good for one year. Stay tuned, I'll be posting details of a BIG giveaway tomorrow!
Sorry it's been a while since I posted anything, October is always a busy month for me! Here are a few pictures of my kids enjoying fall.
Ok girls, here's your sneak peek! I had SO much fun with Erin and Jordynn today! They are 8th grade friends who wanted a little 80's style photo shoot (umm...ok, not QUITE 80's, they also wanted their cell phones, ipods and Jonas Brothers stuff in there too!). Anyway, I know they REALLY wanted to see some photos tonight, so here they are! I'll have the rest up on facebook in a day or two.
I've been told that their whole group of friends recently sat around in a circle at a birthday pary texting each other. Girls are so silly! :-)

My baby is quickly approaching toddlerhood! Jack is nine months old now, can you believe it? Here are a few photos I took a couple of days ago, hope you enjoy them!
Just tooting my own horn a little...I found out yesterday that two of my photos won a contest held by Union Hospital in Terre Haute. These two images won 1st and 3rd places. About 40 people entered over 100 photos and mine are two of the three that will be displayed in the hospital's new addition when it opens next year. Yay me!
This is my BFF and her husband (who happens to be my husband's BFF, which works out great for us!). They are expecting their first baby (a little girl) in just three short weeks! Yup...3 weeks! Doesn't she look great?!? At 37 weeks, she still looks better than I did at any point in any of my pregnancies. If I didn't love her so much I'd be insanely jealous! So anyway, stay tuned because here in a few weeks I'll have photos to post of their daughter! I can't wait to meet her!
