Megan + Saul's wedding was fabulous! I was a little nervous going into this because I had never been to the location (Tippecanoe River State Park) and due to distance I hadn't met Megan and Saul before the wedding day. But they are both so sweet and by the end of the day I felt like I had known them for years. They had a beautiful day, not too hot (rare for August in Indiana!) and a perfect location in and around Tepicon Hall in the state park. Their day was full of love and laughter and it was an absolute joy to photograph!
The setting and decor were perfect!
Cross (Saul's son) was the cutest ring bearer ever!
Megan and Saul chose to do a first look, which always makes the day go a little smoother and is a perfect way for the bride and groom to get a few minutes alone(ish)! Click here to read all about why I think first looks are awesome - it's not just for the photos!
Ellie Mae (Saul's daughter) was one of the adorable flower girls and she was just as sweet as could be.
Yeah...I think they like each other a little!
Window light + a beautiful bride = perfection.
Megan looks awfully excited!
It was a beautiful ceremony.
They involved Cross and Ellie Mae in the sand ceremoy, which was pretty much the sweetest thing ever.
Did I mention how much I love window light?
Megan + Saul + pretty much everyone there are horse people, so I had to capture this detail shot!
Cross was kind of over photos by this point, but I loved how Megan bent down to comfort him.
I just love them together...I could have taken portraits of them all day.
Another reason to love this wedding: they had an ICE CREAM CART! Hands down the best ice cream I've ever had.
Capturing little moments like this is my absolute favorite part of photographing weddings.
Megan's sister, Rachel, gave an awesome speech. I've never heard the maid of honor toast done as a poem before -so fun!
Seriously, I've only spent a few hours with them, but it's clear to see that they are perfect for each other!
